GM to Donate Child-Size Hummers to Hospitals Nationwide

HummerH2Hospitals
It started off as an idea from a Shreveport General Motors employee. Now, its turned into a nationwide program. Mini-Hummers were first given to the Christus Schumpert Sutton Children’s Medical Center in Shreveport, the home of the Hummer H3. “We plan to expand this program, in order to provide children’s hospitals around the country with ride-on Hummers to help put smiles on the faces of their young patients,” said Martin Walsh, Hummer general manager — “We believe this mode of transportation beats a gurney ride and can help take young patients’ minds off their fears.” And Walsh is right – according to doctors the children have been quite receptive! Cheers to Hummer for their commitment!
