With the very first 2010 units hitting U.S. dealerships, HUMMER rolled out its 2010 H3 and H3T model pricing late last week. Overall, the pricing remains largely unchanged from 2009.
The 2010 H3 will have the exact same starting MRSP as the 2009 model at $33,390, and the H3T base price went up $165 from last year to $30,915. However, if you opt for the H3T Alpha package, that price has dropped $335 to $35,680 for 2010.
HUMMER’s release also talked about the E85 capable 2010 Alpha engine that completes HUMMER’s goal of having biofuel options across its vehicle lineup by 2010. We first saw the flexfuel capable 2010 HUMMER H3T at The HUMMER Club’s event on Drummond Island in August.
“In 2007, HUMMER committed to offer a biofuel powertrain in every vehicle by 2010 and follows through on that promise with the addition of a new 300-horsepower, E85 Flex Fuel capable 5.3L V8,” says James Taylor, HUMMER CEO. “This is just the first step in HUMMER’s evolution to offer responsible, yet highly capable all-terrain vehicles. Future models will be lighter, more efficient and will continue to offer the best blend of off-road capability and on-road performance.”
HUMMER also made it official they will be offering three new colors for 2010 (check out our ‘unofficial’ announcement from May for more on that).
One other minor change — it appears that HUMMER has returned to a black-bumper configuration instead of the silver front bumper used on 2008 and 2009 models.
