Racing on Friday, Team HUMMER and Robby Gordon wrapped up stage 7 of the 14-stage 2010 Dakar race in South America. After some strong stage finishes early, the team suffered some setbacks in the stages leading up to Saturday’s day of rest which marks the race’s halfway point.
Gordon was running strong in stage 7, and even led the stage most of the day, but a blown alternator would force him to stop and wait for parts. Once Gordon was back running, he had lost significant time and would end up finishing 24th in the stage and falling to 10th place overall.
“It’s just a huge bummer,” Gordon said after racing ended Friday. “I am ready for tomorrow’s rest day so that we can reevaluate and strategize for the rest of the race. Our plan is to come on strong for the final stages and make up as much ground as possible.”

I found online the sale has been postponed until Feb.2nd.
If sale falls through the brand will go through a Fire Sale.
Of course all current warranties would be honored.
